The Student Government Association (SGA)
The Student Government Association serves as the student voice to the
Administration in college affairs. The mission of the student government association is to deal effectively with
matters of student affairs, to promote understanding between administration, faculty, and students, to administer all
matters which work with the administration in all matters affecting the welfare of the college, and to help supervise
specified college activities.

Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity
PTK is an international honor society for students in two year colleges.
Since its founding in 1918, Phi Theta Kappa has been the only international fraternity
for junior colleges. It serves to promote scholarship, develop character, and
cultivate fellowship. To be eligible for Phi Theta Kappa, a student shall be of
good moral character, shall possess recognized qualities of citizenship, shall participate
in the development of chapter projects, and shall have established academic
excellence as judged by the faculty sponsor in accordance with guidelines set by the
International Constitution. Membership is by invitation only.

Literary Magazine
Reflections is a compilation of student writing and art. It is published on the
Milledgeville campus yearly, under the supervision of the Humanities Division,
using funds from the Student Activities budget. Students from all sites are encouraged
to submit their work, join the staff, and enjoy the imaginative variety of student
creations when Reflections comes out in the spring.

GMC Columbus News is written, produced, and published by students from GMC Columbus
under the supervision of the Humanities Coordinator. All students, alumni, faculty, and staff
are encouraged to read and contribute articles to GMC Columbus News.

Kappa Theta Phi Nu
PURPOSE AND AUTHORITY: The purpose of Kappa Theta Phi Nu Sorority is: 1) to aid Georgia Military College with any activities
in which volunteer work is required to function 2)to serve as the model organization in the representation of the college 3)provide
the students of Georgia Military College with the opportunity to participate in a Greek service organization while attending junior college
4)aid in the development of its members resulting in successful and responsible young women.
Mission Statement:
We the sisters of Kappa Theta Phi Nu hereby promise to exemplify our core values by: maintaining a regal sisterhood within
our organization as well as others, and conduct selfless service throughout the community as well as for those in need.
